Day 13: The Gospel Glues Us Together

One of the most beautiful aspects of the early church is how the gospel bound believers together, no matter their differences. In Acts 8, we see the gospel gluing Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch together in a moment of deep spiritual connection. Despite cultural and societal barriers, the good news of Jesus bridged the gap between them. Jesus’s command to love one another is not just a suggestion; it’s the glue that holds us together. Our shared faith in Christ creates a bond that goes beyond any differences. When we let the gospel unite us, we reflect God’s heart for a diverse but united community.

Are you letting the gospel be the glue that binds you to others, even those different from you? How can you strengthen those gospel-centered relationships in your life?  

Pray:
Jesus, may your gospel be the glue that binds me to others in love. Help me to see past differences and embrace the unity you’ve given us. Teach me to love as you have loved. Amen.
