Day 8: Pray on the Spot

Read Nehemiah 2:4
When King Artaxerxes asked Nehemiah what he needed, Nehemiah’s instinct was to pray, even if only for a moment. “On the spot” prayers connect us to God wherever we are and whatever we’re doing. We don’t always have time for long prayers, but we can always reach out to God in the moment. Quick, simple prayers remind us that God is near, ready to guide and give strength. Praying like this turns daily life into a constant conversation with our loving Father.

What keeps you from praying “on the spot” when you face a decision or challenge? How could quick, moment-by-moment prayers help you feel closer to God?

Pray:
Lord, help me remember that I can talk to You anytime, anywhere. Give me the instinct to pray in the moment, whether for help, gratitude, or guidance. Teach me to stay connected to You throughout my day. Amen.
