Day 5: Worship as a Commitment
Read: Exodus 24:3
After hearing God’s word, the people of Israel responded, “We will do everything the LORD has said.” Worship is more than just a moment; it’s a commitment. It’s not enough to sing songs or pray in the moment of worship. True worship involves a commitment to follow through in our daily lives. Worship changes us. It calls us to live differently—to align our actions with God’s word and to walk in obedience.
God isn’t just looking for an emotional response; he’s looking for a commitment. Worship involves not only our words but our actions. It’s a daily decision to live for God and to carry out his will in every area of our lives.
Reflect: How does your worship influence the way you live? Are there areas of your life where you need to follow through on your commitment to God?
Pray: Father, help me to live out my worship through obedience. Strengthen my commitment to follow You in every part of my life. Amen.
